Frequently asked questions
Everything you might want to know about Pretty Lane.
Who writes Pretty Lane?
Every post is written by Aisha, a faceless creator and the single editorial voice behind the site. The persona is intentionally anonymous so the focus stays on the looks — but all of the writing, picks and structure are original and done by hand.
How do you choose the looks in each post?
We watch what is genuinely trending on Pinterest and in salons, then group the best ideas into edits that make sense — by shape, colour, season or occasion. Each look is something a real person could recreate, not a one-off runway moment.
Can I recreate these looks at home or at a salon?
Yes — that is the whole point. Each look includes a short, practical note on what it is and how to wear or ask for it. Screenshot or save the ones you love and take them to your nail tech or stylist.
Do you own the images?
Our images are original or properly licensed. We do not use celebrity photos, brand logos or copyrighted artwork. If you believe an image has been used in error, contact us and we will resolve it quickly.
How do I save ideas for later?
Use the Save button on any post or image to pin it to your Pinterest boards, or follow Pretty Lane on Pinterest so new looks appear in your feed. You can also bookmark a post in your browser.
Is the site free? How is it funded?
The site is completely free to read. It is supported by display advertising, which is always clearly labelled as “Advertisement”. We keep ad density reasonable so the content stays easy to read.
Can we work together or do a collaboration?
Possibly! We consider relevant, tasteful partnerships that fit a women's fashion and beauty audience. Email hello@besturdubooks.pk with the details.
